Tiffany Li 李碧瑩, our Director, is a counselling psychologist holding multiple professional credentials: Registered Play Therapist with the Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association (APPTA), Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Canada, and International Certified Child-Centered Play Therapy Supervisor from the Center for Play Therapy at the University of North Texas. She obtained her Master of Social Sciences in Counselling Psychology from Hong Kong Shue Yan University, and completed HKPCCA's play therapy training, recognised by the Association for Play Therapy (APT).
Her clinical experience is extensive: play therapy for children facing emotional distress, behavioural problems, relationship difficulties and special educational needs (SEN), and counselling for adults navigating emotional challenges, interpersonal difficulties and career exploration. She has rich experience in parent work — facilitating Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) groups and conducting parent workshops and seminars — and has brought play therapy services and talks to schools and social welfare organisations across Hong Kong, working alongside students, parents, teachers, social workers and other stakeholders.
She is passionate about giving back to the community — training local adults with intellectual disabilities in self-care and work skills, and travelling to Costa Rica to deliver medical services to underserved communities. Awarded the 2020–2021 Postgraduate Research Scholarship by Hong Kong Shue Yan University, she is dedicated to advancing play therapy in Hong Kong through research.
As Director, she leads a team that brings psychologists, play therapists and counsellors under one roof — serving thousands of clients across Hong Kong since 2014 — so that every person who walks through our doors feels understood, accepted and respected.
"Every individual deserves to be understood, accepted and respected."
