The students have made positive changes in their self-expression, emotional management, listening to instructions, self-control and social skills. Moreover, the therapists will meet with parents and teachers before the therapy and before the termination. We have organized a “Parent-child communication parent group” this year, which enhanced their parenting and caregivers’ skills as well as the communication skills between parents and child. In summary, play therapy is beneficial to children with special educational needs.
