My therapeutic approach is grounded in a child's natural capacity to heal, grow and navigate their struggles when they are given a safe, accepting space with room for autonomy. In my playroom, your child leads the process. I walk alongside them at their own pace, honouring their rhythm and supporting the whole child in mind, body and senses.
When I am not in the playroom, I can usually be found practising yoga, cooking, or parenting my own child. Managing a solo-parent household keeps me grounded in the practical realities of everyday family life. Having personal experience of the mental load, and of balancing work and home, allows me to bring empathy, humour and an open, non-judgemental presence to the families I support. I aim to be a collaborative partner who respects each family's culture and traditions, and honours their own journey.
This integration of life experience and professional passion shapes how I support your child. My background in visual art and design helps me appreciate artistic expression and creative problem-solving when a child cannot yet find words. My training in yoga and prenatal yoga means I bring a calm, regulated nervous system into every session, using body awareness to help children learn to soothe themselves when they feel overwhelmed. My culinary arts studies in Italy attuned me to the power of sensory grounding, which is why I often reach for tactile mediums such as sand, water and clay, helping your child explore and process complex feelings at a stage when words are not yet enough.

Healing doesn't happen through theories alone; it happens when one authentic life steps forward to support another. At its core, life impacts lives.Diana Wong — Counsellor and Play Therapist
